Monday Musings

Although it's summer, the LTM sports staff will be super busy in the next month.

Expect blow-out coverage on the Babe Ruth World Series in Purcellville in mid-August. And, this year, the newspaper will publish a comprehensive football preview section Aug. 29. All 10 of Loudoun's public schools will be featured, with schedules and photographs.

I can't say enough about our sports coverage. I know I'm bias, but LTM sports always delivers in the clutch – from Little League coverage to high school sports. A real community focus.

IMPORTANT ISSUES: The Board of Supervisors' action recently concerning illegal immigrants and the denial of the Crosstrail project remain hot-button concerns to our readers.

Let us know what you think concerning this week's editorial about Crosstrail.

NEW WEB SITE: Our new Web site gives us the chance to keep the news fresh, even on the weekends.

Check out our bloggers. Don't forget, please feel free to submit photos to us (Photos By You) and news (News By You).

How we'd do for the first week? Our Web site still has some bugs, but we're working on them.

See you next week!

Nice sweater.
