Kaine, elected leaders and the mystery of Bilderberg
Did you know the governor was in town Wednesday night? Our slate of elected leaders did, and so did someone who had thoughts of a new world order on his mind.Tim Kaine's visit June 11 to discuss the state's transportation mess drew a horde of county supervisors, town council members, delegates, and senators to Leesburg's Harper Park Middle School during the dead of rush hour.
Here's the official write up, but here are some other little tid-bits I heard and saw:
Board of Supervisors Chairman Scott York (I-at large) said during his few minutes with Kaine and Secretary of Transportation Homer Pierce, that he asked that county's be allowed to tax restaurant meals to help raise money for roads. Towns and cities can do this now, but not counties.
During question and answer with Kaine, Supervisor Kelly Burk (D-Leesburg) stood up and told the governor that when lawmakers meet later this month to talk transportation, he should lock the door behind them and "throw away the key." Her point being that Richmond has done little to help localities with their road messes.
Shelly Huss, with the Loudoun County Commuter Bus Advisory Board, pleaded with the governor to help the county buy or lease more buses.
One anti-taxer from Fairfax told Kaine he broke his campaign pledge not to raise taxes. He suggested the state cut more from education and public health-care benefits to find additional money for roads.
Though he was not called on, Loudoun Sheriff Steve Simpson said he wanted to tell Kaine that too many people living in West Virginia and other points west and north were clogging Routes 7, 9 and 15.
"Transportation is a critical issue," Simpson said. "I'm glad the governor is attacking it head on."
This last item is a little fuzzy. Someone stood up and asked Kaine what he thought of an "illegal" meeting that took place in Northern Virginia involving, I think, Condoleeza Rice.
I looked online and found postings of something called the Bilderberg Conference, which is apparently a secret annual meeting of the world's most influential people who are looking to create a new world order. This year's conference, according to online reports, took place at the Westfields Marriott in Chantilly this month.
Kaine, who looked a little taken aback by the question from a man who appeared to be in his early 20s, said he could not comment on the meeting because he knew nothing about it.
Soon after asking his question, the man, and several other young people, got up in the middle of the meeting and left the room to the sound of a door slamming shut behind them.
Any ideas on this one?

Not sure Kaine was in attendance but I'm pretty sure he was lying if he said he's never heard of the group. 120+ of the world's richest and most powerful people met in his state last week. He knew.

Well Jason....I can't help but quote a tid bit from a movie because your looking into "the world that has been pulled over your eyes to blind you from the truth."
"You take the blue pill, you wake up in your bed and the story ends. You believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill…and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes."
You are a slave Jason.....
