Ashburn Blog: Tribute Assisted Living and Memory Care opens

With the focus on “compassionate care” Tribute Assisted Living and Memory Care recently held a grand opening ceremony for its brand new 140 unit facility at One Loudoun in Ashburn.

“It's a beautiful building with amazing amenities,” said Tribute at One Loudoun president Danny Davis, who recently joined the team after serving as assistant town manager for Purcellville for two years.

“We plan to create a place of energy and excitement here,” he added.

Tribute features one floor dedicated to a memory care unit with 37 rooms. There is outdoor space, a dining area, and each room features a digital memory box for photos of family and friends.

“I love the integration of technology and new ideas to help seniors,” Davis said.

The other floors are for assisted living, providing a variety of services to people who need a little extra care.

“I feel part of the mission is to engage in the lives of seniors providing fun with health and wellness in this environment,” Davis said.

“People should feel a sense of comfort, modern openness and generate a feeling of energy and excitement here. There are lots of activities and fun things to do, and positive stimulation with a healthy, whole care approach,” he said.

For Davis, the job comes with personal experience - he has had three grandparents with memory care challenges in their final years.

“It is very personal to me and I see an opportunity here to make a difference with these residents and families,” Davis said.

Tribute will begin to move residents in over the next couple of weeks. It is located at 20335 Savin Hill Drive in Ashburn. Visit tributeatoneloudoun.com for more information.
