The Middleburg Business and Professional Association’s President Punkin Lee welcomes visitors to the annual summer sale. The town has always had a huge crowd for an event sponsored by the association and the Middleburg Bank, and this year the sale will be Aug. 4-6, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and Sunday the times will be dictacted by the individual shops. Look for the balloons outside the businesses participating.

As many visitors need time to relax and enjoy their time in this quaint and historic town -- time to consider the bargains and enjoy their friends -- the town has excellent accommodations. Two new restaurants will also be open during the event and offering thai food, Best Thai Kitchen and Thaiverse 2.

Thaiverse 2 is the latest restaurant to open in Middleburg and has been ranked highly on Open Table. The restaurant is located at 101 South Madison and is offering a “Happy Hour” now on weekdays. Call 540-883-3145 for reservation or for pick-up.
