Loudoun Valley Theatre presents “The Last Tree: The Story of Easter Island and The Water Engine.” Nov. 3-5. Fri, Sat. at 7 p.m. and Sun. at 2 p.m. $10. Double feature show. The Last Tree is a tale of the beginning, inhabitance, and eventual destruction of Easter Island. An enchanting dance and movement piece, it celebrates Polynesian culture and addresses issues of deforestation and human waste. The Water Engine is a drama about an inventor that creates and engine that runs on distilled water. The piece contains thems of conservation and the need for sustainable energy.
