6-year-old logic

The other morning, son found a Reese’s peanut butter cup he wanted. It was about 9:30 a.m. and we had just had breakfast, so I told him we don’t have candy for breakfast but that he could have it after lunch.

His response?  “OK.  Can I have lunch now?”

Ha ha! Too funny, I had something very very similar happen to me. My son had his eye on some köpa sillybands that he found on http://www.bandz.se and I had told him we would have a look at the silly bands after lunch. He was pretty anxious to get the sillybandz, but I told him he had to wait. So he trundles off… After a while I wonder where he went, so I go look, and find him in the kitchen with food all served and almost eaten. When I enquired, he just said he wanted to eat so he could look at the silly bandz!
