Dominion High School in Sterling will hold its fifth annual Latin Dance Competition at 2 p.m. on March 20.
Tickets will be $5 at the door. Senior citizens and children under 4 will be admitted free.
Students will compete in different Latin dance styles and rhythms. The objective of this competition is not only to have fun, but to promote the Latin culture in the school environment and increase the sense of belonging of students.
All of the dance routines and music will be appropriate for family entertainment.
Teams will compete in four categories:
· Cumbia
· Merengue
· Group Choreography
· Jack & Jill: Random partners will be assigned the day of competition. Students will have to demonstrate they can dance with an unknown person and be able to do it well.

· South Lakes High School
· Sterling Middle School
· Watkins Mill High School
