![]() | Elijah Gate Worship Team left to right: Brenda Elefante (keyboards), Jacob Sayer (electric), Matthew Sayer (acoustic), Valerie Sayer (lead vocals), Aaron Branch (bass) and Jessica Sayer (drums, vocals) have a unique style all their own. Like David, their hands have been trained for war and their fingers for battle [Psalm 144:1] and they sing a new song to the Lord [Psalm 144:9]. David was a singing soldier. They are worshipping warriors-who love the presence of God. |
“And he shall go before Him in the spirit and the power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord” [Luke 1:17].
Pray Sterling and Elijah Gate Ministry Hold Gospel Music Concert
Saturday August 14, 1-5 PM
Pray Sterling celebrates its first Family Gospel Music Concert at the Sterling Community Center Pavilion, 120 Enterprise Street (located behind the Sterling Park Fire and Rescue Station). The concert event is 1-5pm Saturday, August 14. Directions are on the Pray Sterling website http://www.praysterling.org or you can contact .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or an administrator at 540-907-5115.
You won’t want to miss this outdoor Gospel event featuring the Elijah Gate Worship Team, musicians and prayer warriors from Lucketts, Virginia. At 1pm Elijah Gate Ministry will open the ceremonies with the sounding of the Shofar (Rams horn). Psalms 98:6 teaches us to praise Him with a loud noise, “with trumpets and the blast of the ram’s horn—shout for joy before the LORD, the King.” When we perform this act of praise He will then fill the Pavilion with His Glory.
After the sounding of the Shofar, the Elijah Gate Ministry musicians will grace us with their empowering music throughout the event. The concert will also include special readings from the Bible and hourly prayer opportunities. Open your heart to the words of the songs, lift your hands towards Heaven, dance like King David and seek a closer walk with our Father in Heaven through Jesus Christ and watch Him work miracles in your life. He blessed King David, and He will bless our community. We want Sterling residents to experience the glory of God. Please join us as we pray for the Sterling community and all its residents. “The trumpeters and singers joined in unison, as with one voice, to give praise and thanks to the LORD … then the house of the Lord was filled with a cloud for the glory of the Lord filled the house of God” (2 Chronicles 5:13-14).

The objective is to promote change for the spiritual climate through prayer, fasting and transforming the people and institutions of Loudoun County with practical demonstrations of love and acts of compassion. According to Jack Stagman, President Transformation Forum, the definition of Marketplace/Church Leader is “believers who are leaders in business and government who share the vision and mission. These marketplace leaders function as equal partners together with church leaders, working together as one, with a passion to transform and impact society through their spheres of influence.”
About the Elijah Gate Worship Team and Christian Center:
It is a local Church with a vision reaching the world. The congregation has a heart for the helpless and a mandate for worldwide ministry. Its purpose is to exalt God, to establish His Kingdom and to extend His Kingdom. Elijah Gate is a family oriented fellowship of believers who are taking God at His Word in all His power and life changing truth. They are learning to love one another as He loved us, to work together to see the fulfillment of the Great Commission, to serve our community, nation, and world to the glory of Jesus Christ and God the Father, through the working of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Elijah Gate Worship Leader Valerie Sayer informed me of the teams favorite quote: “I’m in love with God and God is in love with me, this is who I am and this is who I’ll be and that settles it…..completely.”
