    Northern Virginia search and rescue members return from Nepal
    Local members of the Fairfax County International Urban Search & Rescue Team task force returned home from Nepal early morning May 16 and were met by friends, family, co-workers and well-wishers at their headquarters on Flint Lee Road in Chantilly.

    Leesburg Police Department and Loudoun schools confirmed a student at Leesburg's Frances Hazel Reid Elementary was injured by another student in an incident on the bus May 20.

    Falling rocks damaged several homes, cars and at least one business in Sterling this morning after a scheduled blast from Loudoun Quarries inadvertently sent debris into the air.

    One Loudoun was denied a summary judgment May 21 that would have allowed it to terminate a lease with Virginia Investment Partner.
