JUVENILE DETENTION SPECIALIST Loudoun County Department of Family Services is seeking qualified applicants for a residential direct care staff position to work in the Juvenile Detention Center. Duties include security, behavior modification, direct supervision and individual and group counseling of detained adolescents. Rotating schedule including days, evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays. Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Criminal Justice or related field and two years experience in direct service to youths. Employee must maintain valid driver's license within state of residence and current certification in CPR/AED and First Aid. Must become certified in medication administration and attend additional periodic annual trainings as required by State Standards. Satisfactory results of a physical exam, drug screen, and all criminal background checks required by state standards applicable to the facility. DMV records check required.
