MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate will have four years of experience inspecting, repairing, installing and maintaining lock hardware, keying systems and> related mechanisms in keeping with security, fire and safety regulations. In addition, experience repairing doors, frames and door hardware is required. The ability to operate a computer to maintain the key controlling system and prepare bills for locksmith services is essential. Candidates must have a valid State driver's license, and be able to obtain a CDL, Class B, and an AOA (Air Operation Area) license within 90 days of hire. PREFERRED QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge of Best Locking Systems is preferred. Knowledge of FAA, fire and safety regulations to inspect installation of locks by contractor, assure that airport locking devices and related mechanisms meet requirements, protect master keys from unauthorized access and assure proper authorization of key issue requests is also preferred.
