Edwards Ferry Road Closure
Closing Edwards’ Ferry Road has played havoc with my routine.  Now to get to Costco, Kohls or Target you have to drive south on River Creek Parkway to Fort Evans Road then through six signalized intersections before turning right into heavy traffic, then right again on the open section of Edwards’ Ferry Road before executing a perilous weaving move to make a left turn into the Kohl/Target/Costco parking lot.  The trip that once took eight minutes now requires 20 to 30.  I’ve been late for several appointments and going for a loaf of bread has become a major undertaking.  The August reopening of Edwards’ Ferry Road will be greeted warmly especially this time of year.  And it should be open before the new Chic flay goes into operation.
