The Loudoun County Electoral Board is looking for civic-minded individuals to serve as election officers in the South Riding and Stone Ridge areas for the November 8 and/or 2012 presidential elections.
Election workers must be at their assigned polling locations at 5am and the day typically ends around 8:30pm. Those willing to work the entire day are preferred, but there are also openings for half-day workers.
For new workers, a three-hour training session is required. Workers are paid $100 for a full day and $50 for a half day. Newbies will be paid $20 for attending the training session.
