Loudoun Symphony concert to celebrate life of Mark McCoy

The Loudoun Symphony Orchestra, in its 26th year, will be performing at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 8 at the National Conference Center in Lansdowne. It will be a “Celebration of life dedicated to Maestro Mark McCoy.” McCoy died on Aug. 1 from a yearlong struggle with colon cancer. His legacy and his 18 years as the symphony’s conductor will be recognized at the concert entitled “Awakenings.”
