‘Hugo’ (PG)

Director Martin Scorsese is known primarily for his dramatic and sometimes mature films. For that reason it’s surprising that his approach to a children’s novel may provide him with one of his best movies.

The end result is simply magical.

Perhaps more surprisingly is that Scorsese takes so well to 3D filming. Just when Hollywood has left us skeptical of the value of the 3D glasses, Scorsese’s craftsmanship in shooting specifically for the medium make this a movie you simply have to see in 3D.

The movie is adapted from the 2008 children’s book by Brian Selznick. If there are any negatives to the movie, it’s that the length and detail may lose some younger children and the movie ends up looking at one of the early heroes of cinema, Georges Melies.

While the picture includes particularly charming performances by Jude Law and Ben Kingsley, the real star of the performance is British child actor Asa Butterfield, who manages a positive realism throughout. Butterfield is best known for his role in “The Boy in the Striped Pajamas” and recently cast as the title role in the upcoming film adaption of “Ender’s Game.”

I have been surfing online greater than 3 hours as of late, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It’s lovely worth enough for me. In my view, if all webmasters and bloggers made just right content material as you probably did, the internet will probably be a lot more helpful than ever before. “Dignity is not negotiable.
