    Anita’s ‘New Mexican Style’ Cafe

Having spent my youth regularly visiting my native Texas, I should be able to proudly proclaim how bad the Mexican food is in the Northern Virginia. Fortunately for us all, it’s just not true – and Anita’s is part of the reason.
There are Loudoun locations in Leesburg and Ashburn. This means that a good meal is never far off. There is a wide variety of items to choose from, but as a burrito expert, the Hollenbeck is my meal of choice. It’s a sizable mean with taco meat, refried beans and Spanish rice wrapped up in a flour tortilla and covered in green chile.
You won’t even need one of the house Margaritas to enjoy it, although they do come highly recommended.
And for those of you who haven’t tried it, consider Anita’s for breakfast as well. A bag of breakfast burritos (scrambled eggs wrapped in a tortilla and smothered with chile and cheese) is sure to make you a hit in the office. But if you have time, sit down with the Cowboy burrito – eggs, sausage, bacon and ham covered in sausage gravy.

A local chain, Anita’s also has locations in and Burke, Chantilly, Fairfax, Herndon, Stafford and Vienna.
