For newcomers, there’s a restaurant that plays host to many of Leesburg’s natives. Located off the main streets near the Route 15 bypass, this local chain has made a name for itself in the area.
You can tell it’s popular because of the good business it receives and the number of Leesburg locals who go out of their way to catch up on their favorite dishes.
For this most recent visit, I drug along some coworkers to introduce them to this local staple.
Starting off with the nachos, the table was impressed that the chili came separately for drizzling over the nachos. There were also appreciation for the variety of salad – and the healthy proportions.
For my own lunch, I found myself unable to pass up anything called a Leesburger – a perfectly prepared hamburger with grilled Virginia ham, barbeque sauce and Monterey Jack cheese. It was worth the trip all on its own.
The Blue Ridge Grill has a second location in Brambleton, although the atmosphere is different enough to deserve its own review.
