Magnolias at the Mill
I started my Sunday brunch at Magnolias with a zesty chicken and tortilla soup, which was good enough to make me ask for more. I then moved on to the Chef Marrocco’s authentic bolognese. Everything about it was big – thick Bucatini pasta, large cipollini onions and thick slices of portabella mushrooms. I cleared my plate and still had enough appetite to steal a bite of the black angus filet – also a treat.
In addition to their special entrée selections, there is always a burger and specialty pizza option as well.
Magnolias switches up its menu each season with different offerings for dinner and lunch. But under the supervision of chef Mark Marrocco, there are seldom any complaints. There is also an impressive collection of wines, including many local selections. The beer menu also provides a variety of options.
But the real treat is simply the comfortable atmosphere at Magnolias. Built at the site of an actual mill with much of the machinery and gears on display, Magnolias also offers comfortable patio and outdoor seating when the weather cooperates.

I don’t think that there is something that sacred food wise that would make me cringe. I’m pretty open to anything as long the dish is well prepared and cooked well. Maybe using only american cheese in a lasagna, or something of that ilk. I can tell you that is one taste memory that I wish I could erase.

Great Winery. Highly recommend ikcehcng this place out. The wine is awesome and the food and music is great. Can’t wait for SPRING!!!!
- My parents did this later in life as well. It gave them a sense of peace as they eteernd their golden years that they were married in the eyes of God. May Anne and Doc both continue to draw strength and comfort from each other and their faith.
