It’s man’s eternal struggle, where to go for lunch.

There is a new option at the Villages at Leesburg. Along with several other dining options, Noodles & Company offers a tasty change.

Served in a Chipotle-style, orders are placed at a back cashier with food made to order and then brought to your table.

The options are mostly noodle-based and are broken down into three categories: Asian (like Pad Thai), Mediterranean (Penne Rosa) and American (Wisconsin Mac and Cheese). Each has three to four different options. Soups and sandwiches are also available.

For my first trip, I sampled a regular bowl of the Mushroom Stroganoff. It was a tasty little meal, delivered quickly and hearty enough to get me through the day. Most of the bowls have the option of added meats and the added braised beef was quite good. I also stole a sample of the Penne Rosa with parmesan-crusted chicken. Crisp and tasty, it had me rethinking my own order.

Smaller bowl options and calorie notations can assist health enthusiasts ensure that they stay on their daily diet. Service was fast and friendly and prices a bit less than what you’d expect.
