    Windy City Red Hots

Some days you just want a hot dog with all the trimmings. Windy City Red Hots has it – and they offer a nice lunch for a low price.

In addition to hot dogs, Windy City also offers the kind of french fries that make your mouth water and a variety of beef and sausage sandwiches. My next trip will definitely include a pizza puff, a type of calzone with pizza ingredients wrapped in a flaky crust.

I went with the old favorite for my first trip for this institution in the making. The friendly wait-staff provided me with a tasty chili cheese dog that managed to get me through the rest of the day at work.

The small Leesburg location does pretty brisk lunchtime business, but the orders are turned around quickly for those who feel like taking a filling meal back to their desk.
And for those looking for the same good taste without the extra 15 minutes to Leesburg, don’t forget that Windy City also hosts a food truck in the parking lot of Blue Mount Nursery at the corner of Route 7 and Lexington Drive.

Both are locally owned and operated for those looking to support those in our community.

There’s a place in my heart (and belly) for both Pam’s Haute and Angel’s Windy City.  It all depends on the mood you’re in.  Different dogs, both incredible, it just depends on if you’re in the mood for a bud or a guinness - there’s room for both some days!  Keep up the good work and everyone should feel good about supporting our local neighbors who’ve laid it on the line for us by opening their businesses these days.  Bravo friends!

Haute Dogs..? Are you kidding? Windy City has true, “Chicago” style dogs with all the trimmings. REAL mid-western hot dog lovers will taste the difference every time… keep on cooking Windy City. You’re miles ahead of the competition (if that’s what you want to call it). Oh, and its more bang for your buck too.

Nice, but it doesn’t even come close to the quality and flavor and service and choices at Haute Dogs & Fries in Purcellville!  If you haven’t tasted their 100% beef dogs or fresh lobster rolls or fresh handcut fires or brats from Lothar - then you haven’t lived well!
