Appreciation for Gifts for Good

We’re in the modern digital-age now and we want to thank Loudoun for your good gifts.

Our organizations have been so privileged to take part in the introduction of Loudoun Gifts for Good program during the recent holiday season. We saw the conversion of the wonderful Alternative Gift Fair from a physical storefront presence to a robust online opportunity for people to donate to local charities in honor of family members, friends and colleagues.

The total level of contributions to Loudoun Gifts for Good this year exceeds $10,000. As you can see from our signatures to this letter, the program offers much needed financial support for agencies serving those in need right here in the Loudoun community.

We owe the following Gifts for Good’s sponsors great thanks, because their support has more than covered our overhead and allowed 100 percent of the donors’ contributions to go directly to the delivery of services to our Loudoun neighbors: Backflow Technology, Beth Chaverim Reform Congregation, Burnett & Williams, Cardinal Bank, Claude Moore Charitable Foundation, Dr. Gordon Culp, Inova Loudoun Hospital, Middleburg Bank and REHAU.  Members of the Loudoun County CEO Cabinet and multiple faith communities also contributed generously to our efforts.

The best thing about this new approach is its continuing presence as a website, providing the opportunity to contribute at any time including: birthdays, other holidays, anniversaries and memorial gifts. We invite your visit to loudoungiftsforgood.org for more details. And again, our heartfelt thanks to all of our contributors large and small.  Your gifts encourage us more than you know.
