Contrary to belief

Your article about the [Supervisor Eugene] Delgaudio and his row with the homosexual lobby is rather apt. As the Washington Times reports that the NEA, the same teachers who want a pay raise are the same people backing this lobby. The NEAs recommendation to ensure that children coming out of kindergarten be trained in understanding sexual orientation just boggles the mind. This just one of many ideas contrary to many people’s beliefs. I don’t care what the idiot from California calls it, it is propaganda. Go read the act for yourself.

Mr. Kiser,

I believe you are incorrectly citing this article

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2012/jan/9/new-guidelines-recommend-early-start-to-sex-educat/

The non-binding guidelines were drafted by a coalition including: American Association of Health Education, the American School Health Association, the National Education Association — Health Information Network, the Society of State Leaders of Health and Physical Education, and the Future of Sex Education Initiative.

Sexual orientation is appropriately a fifth-grade topic, not a kindergarten topic.

Your letter should have been rejected by a simple fact check.  But it wasn’t, leaving the public with the impression that supporters of Eugene Delgaudio receive special rights to engage in the same behaviors that make him unfit for public office.
