I want to thank the Loudoun Times-Mirror for their endorsement of Tim Kaine in the Virginia Senate election next week. They hit the nail on the head for Loudoun residents’ choice for U.S. Senate. Tim Kaine showed his leadership capabilities as governor during the worst recession since
the Great Depression. He worked with both parties to balance the budget and cut more than $5 billion in spending, earning Virginia the titles of Best State for Business, Best Managed State, and best state to raise a child. Kaine has worked with both Democrat and Republican presidents to benefit Virginians as governor, and he will continue to work across the aisle as senator.

It is this same bipartisan approach and fiscal prudence that Kaine will take to Washington to address the deficit that George Allen helped create during his term in the Senate.
