The Leesburg Environmental Advisory Commission is looking for nominations for the 2013 Tolbert Environmental Achievement Awards program.

The award program recognizes students, community groups and individuals who conduct or participate in activities that benefit the Town’s environment.

Any students, groups or individuals who participate in recycling efforts, pollution and waste reduction, litter clean up or environmental education are eligible.

Nominations should be sent to Irish Grandfield, environmental planner, at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) and should include a few sentences describing the person or group nominated and why they deserve to be recognized.

Nominations must be submitted by close of business March 29. Awards will be presented at a Town Council
