‘A message to the killer of Erica Smith’

Our family is furious that justice has not yet come for our 14-year-old daughter Erica Heather Smith, who was found murdered in a shallow grave in Ashburn in 2002.

A message to the killer of Erica Smith from her mom: How can you live with yourself knowing that you brutally murdered a child? A young beautiful little girl. You made me a parent of a murdered child!

You put me into a world that is totally different from the world that we used to know and want back so badly. It is so very hard to accept and live with this each and every day! I pray every day that my daughter Erica’s killer will do the right thing and turn himself in to law enforcement.

I often wonder how can you live with yourself knowing that you brutally murdered our 14-year-old daughter. How can you sleep at night? Don’t you know that God knows what you did? And he sees your every move. I hope and pray when you close your eyes at night that you see and are reminded of how you brutally murdered my daughter. You do not deserve to breathe the same air that law-abiding citizens breath. You need to own up to what you did, and may God set you free of your awful sin.

I have no mercy for you as you had no mercy for my daughter on July 29, 2002. She trusted you and you took her life away. You chose to murder Erica, and I choose not to have mercy on you. As you sleep at night, I can’t because I know my daughter is not at peace. I hear my daughter’s voice saying to me, “Mom don’t let him get away with this.”

If you now have children/family, how would you feel if it was one of your family members that was murdered? Wouldn’t you want justice?! You are a heartless monster, and it’s time that you pay for your vicious, brutal and savage murder of our beautiful 14-year-old daughter.

You will never have peace in your life until you confess.

I’m curious… do the authorities or parents know who this “boy who vacationed in Europe” is? It’s unclear in the AMW account if this info was found out or if the police have/had access to him. I would think phone records could easily be traced back to this person of interest…

To whoever did this I hope you ROT in HELL. There is no place here for you.( You COWARDLY @##%%&#@#.) I hope you look at your mother / sister and think how you would feel if it happened to them. Pretty $#@$#$%%#@ bad right. Pam and Pete, we will get them whoever they are. The !#!@#@$#@ will slip up. Erica is my cousin, and was just like a daughter to me, so look out. We will not (and I REPEAT!!!!,) NOT GIVE UP UNTIL WE FIND YOU….. Keep The Faith Pam & Pete. You two will stay in my prayers. Luv you both.

I find it so hard to believe that no one will speak up. Her friends are probably in their early twenties now…someone that hung around that circle of friends or at that “party spot” must know of some older guys that liked to date younger girls. I’m several years older than Erica would be, but I know these sorts of relationships were common place and were hardly a secret. Someone should start a campaign on Facebook and see if they can jog up some memories…

Erica is at peace with the Lord now enjoying Heaven and will be reunited with her Love ones for ETERNITY. If Erica in Heaven could speak to her family, should would be telling them all about how she is okay and in this wonderfull place, with wonderfull people, in the presence of God. And not to worry any longer about her as she is at peace waiting to be reunited one day with all those that she loved here on earth.

What a wonderful feeling her family will have when they pass on and are greeted by Erica in Heaven.

The killer is not getting away with anything. God will decide whether justice is done here on earth with him/her/them - or if justice is done when they have to answer to God when they pass on from this life. But rest assure, God promises to bring justice.

I cannot imagine the PAIN the family is going through. My thoughts and Prayers go out to you all. It is so easier for me and others to preach what I have wrote without walking in your shoes.So I mean no offense in my post. Only heartfelt compassion.

This person(s) has caused so much pain to the family. Please do not allow them another second of pain to your family. Hand it all over to God. And if it is God’s Will, then maybe justice will be done here on earth and the person(s) found and brought to justice here on earth. But if not, God promises to bring justice face to face.

Pete, Pam and Billy ...our hearts go out to you as we cannot imagine the pain you are dealing with on a daily basis…we cannot bring Erica back but we can mourn with you and or remember the fun cute loving times we all shared with her…We will never forget them or her…and this animal will have to face God someday..Please know that we are here if you need us!!!
