A 22-year-old lawn care worker received minor injuries after he was struck by an older-model black sedan Tuesday afternoon on Ashburn Farm Parkway. Authorities are still looking for the vehicle and the driver who struck him.
The man from Luray, Va., was hit in the grassy area on the north side of Ashburn Farm Parkway, just east of Claiborne parkway. His coworker drove him to the hospital, where he was released after receiving minor treatment.
Authorities said the four-door sedan may have minor damage on the passenger side or hood, but the victim was unable to provide more information. Loudoun County Sheriffs are looking for more witnesses to come forward. To report information on the vehicle or driver, call 703-737-8307.
