The winery’s first releases include the white wines Seyval Blanc, Tango Blu and Viognier and the red wines Syrah/Mourvedre blend and a Malbec. Bogati Bodega is at 35246 Harry Byrd Highway. It is open daily from noon to 6 p.m. For more information, visit http://www.bogatibodega.com or call 540-338-1144.

Comments

We were visiting the area from Florida and stopped in at Bogati Bodega for a wine tasting during the week of July 4, 2010.  Both the setting and the wine were impressive.  I especially liked the Sangria.  Equally impressive was the server, who I believe was fairly new to the job.  Nevertheless, he handled about 5 different groups at the same time efficiently and with aplomb.  We will stop in again. Good luck with this venture!
