Ashburn-based Redwood Realty has announced a merger with AdVenture Real Estate, Inc to form Redwood AdVenture.
The merged company will continue to operate as Century 21 Redwood Realty in their Ashburn, Arlington and Washington, D.C. locations. Their new offices in Fredericksburg, Stafford and Locust Grove will transition into the company as Century 21 AdVenture Redwood.
With the merger, the company is now considered one of the top ten largest Century 21 franchises in the nation.
Redwood AdVenture is a leading real estate firm servicing the mid-Atlantic region specializing in the sale of single-family homes, town homes & condominiums in Washington DC, Northern VA & Suburban MD.
“This merger is a massive win for all parties involved,” says Edward Berenbaum, co-founder of Redwood Realty and President and Chief Marketing Officer for the merged company. “AdVenture’s relocation department is one of the most established in the region and their extensive contacts will dramatically boost our business. Our technology platform is truly second to none and will give their Agents a distinct advantage in their markets. Most importantly, our clients will benefit from this dramatic expansion which will make us one of the ten largest Century 21 franchises in the United States.”
According to Berenbaum, their technology platform allows potential clients easy access to homes for sale.
“What we have done is broken down Loudoun County into nine different sections. Our database is updated 24 times a day and the filter allows customers to cater to their needs,” Berenbaum said. “Here, we are all about visualization and we think our website allows optimum visualization for our customers.
“These two things are what sets our technology plan apart from other realty companies,” Berenbaum said.
According to Berenbaum, on their website “large maps provide a location overview of the elementary, middle, and high schools in the respective counties. When a user clicks on a specific school, they are taken to a page that displays all of the actively available homes in the given district. Users can zoom in and out of the map, filter by house type, price point and by beds and baths and can gain additional perspectives of the surrounding area by electing to view locations of local restaurants and businesses.”
“Our website has a search feature that shows all of the fifty some odd schools in Loudoun County,” Berenbaum said. “So, if a family would like to move into an area that allows their children to go to a particular school they can do that.”
Shawn Milletary, co-founder of Redwood Realty and Principal Broker and Chief Operating Officer, summed up why the company can be so successful in the press release.
“Customers look to real estate companies for three things: knowledge, technology and connections and Redwood AdVenture will deliver each of these attributes,” Milletary said. “Our agents are bright, our technology is cutting edge and their relocation contacts are incredible.”
Berenbaum noted the company is dedicated to serving Loudoun County.
“This company is based in Ashburn and my partner [Milletary] grew up here and graduated from Broad Run High School,” Berenbaum said. “We are dedicated to our customers here within the county.”
Nicholas Pasquini Jr, the third co-founder of Redwood Realty will serve as Chief Financial Officer and the owners of Adventure Real Estate Inc, Melanie Thompson & James Smith will manage the operations of the Fredericksburg, Stafford, and Locust Grove offices.
