A 30-year-old Chantilly woman is in critical condition after the car she was a passenger of struck a 2006 Honda Pilot Saturday in Ashburn.
The woman was taken from the scene at Belmont Ridge Road and Luck Lane to Inova Fairfax Hospital for treatment.
The driver of the 2008 Lexus Sedan that struck the Honda, a 35-year-old Chantilly man, was charged with reckless driving, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.
He was also taken from the scene to an area hospital with serious injuries.
Reports said the driver of the Honda was traveling south on Belmont Ridge Road about 8:49 p.m. when the Lexus crossed the double yellow line.
The driver of the Lexus and a 3-year-old boy were not injured.
