‘Conversations About Leesburg’

Leesburg’s Economic Development Department has unveiled a new tool to attract businesses to the town. The tool, “Conversations About Leesburg,” is a 7-minute 30-second video showcasing the best of what the town has to offer new and expanding businesses.

“We began with our award-winning business attraction brochure, which we converted to a digital format last year, and took the logical next step of creating a marketing video,” said Leesburg Economic Development Manager Marantha Edwards. “This video is centered around a group of business leaders in unscripted conversation about why they live in Leesburg, located their business in Leesburg, or both. Throughout the video, more than 25 businesses and individuals are featured, demonstrating the variety and diversity of our business community.”

“Conversations About Leesburg” can be seen online at http://www.leesburgva.gov/webcasts.

Comments

Hey you knuckleheads, its the 2012, stop using the how great it is in Leesburg strategy and try to identify an industry that could relocate or locate in Leegurg and use the location, educated workforce and whatever advantages this area has.  For instance, my business partner is oversea now talking with businesses and government officials who are looking to gain entrance into the United States high tech and government markets.  How about establishing an international technology park that specializes in locating those types of business in Leesburg.  Just a suggestion, but, I am sure if you send them that tape they will come anyway.
