    Crime Report for Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013

    Destruction of Property
    Jan. 12-13, 9 p.m. - 2 a.m.
    Unknown persons vandalized a mailbox and fence at the 10 block of East Broad Way in Lovettsville.

    Jan. 12-13, 9 p.m. - 2 a.m.
    Artificial lighted trees were vandalized on North Light Street in Lovettsville.

    Missile at a Vehicle
    Jan. 16, 5:45 p.m.
    A driver reported that someone threw an object at their car near the intersection of Potomac View Road and Parkside Circle in Sterling. The object damaged the car’s passenger side door.

    Jan. 16, 2-3 a.m.
    A 24-year-old was walking in the area of the 48000 block of Sugarland Run Drive in Sterling when he was approached by a small group of men who hit him and pushed him to the ground. The victim’s cell phone and wallet were stolen.

    Jan. 18, 2:30 p.m. -3 p.m.
    An 18-year-old Chantilly man reported that he was robbed of his wallet and smart phone near Shaw Road by three men in a car, one of whom was carrying a gun. An investigation into the incident led offers to believe that the incident actually occurred on Saynamkhan Court and was drug-related. Herndon Police located the vehicle and charged Jean Ehounoud, 20, of Sterling and Steven Fields, 19, of Sterling with robbery. A third man,17, was also charged with robbery, but his name has been withheld because of his age. For information, click here.
