Destruction of Property
Feb. 1
A Purcellville police officer discovered that a street sign at the 100 block of Country Club Drive had been damaged by a vehicle. Damage is estimated at $50.

Feb. 3-4, 11 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.
Vandals damaged two car tires at the 2180 block of Leatherleaf Court in Sterling and car tires at the 300 block of West Juniper Avenue in Sterling.

Domestic Dispute
Jan. 29, 1:55 a.m.
Purcellville police were called to the 100 block of Ivy Hills Terrace in Purcellville for an alleged domestic dispute. The parties had calmed down and no assault had taken place.

Jan. 30, 8:46 a.m.
Police responded to the 100 block of Desales Drive in Purcellville and mediated a dispute with a disruptive family member.

Indecent Exposure
Jan. 29, 8:44 p.m.
A woman reported that someone exposed himself to her in the parking lot at the 700 block of East Main Street in Purcellville. She provided police with tag numbers and they are investigating.

Feb. 1-2, 9:15 p.m. - 6:15 a.m.
Someone rummaged through the inside of a car at the 43700 block of Crane Court in Ashburn. Nothing was taken.

Feb. 2-3, 6 p.m. - 6 a.m.
A GPS unit was stolen from an unlocked vehicle at the 42800 block of Bittner Square in Ashburn.

Feb. 2-3, 6 p.m. - 6 a.m.
In two instances, thieves entered a garage and took cash from an unlocked car at the 42800 block of Early Light Place in Ashburn.

Feb. 2-3, 7:15 p.m. - 7:15 a.m.
Although nothing was taken, someone rummaged through an unlocked vehicle at the 22400 block of Forest Manor Drive in Ashburn.

Feb. 3-4, 11:30 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.
Cash and credit cards were stolen from a car at the 2060 block of Breeders Run Court in Ashburn.

Feb. 3-4, 7 p.m. - 8:40 p.m.
Two unlocked vehicles were rummaged through at the 20700 block of Cross Timber Drive.Nothing was taken.

Feb. 4, 3 a.m. - 11 a.m.
Loose change was stolen from a car at the 42800 block of Genuine Reward Court in Ashburn.

Jan. 28, 8:15 a.m.
A juvenile was turned over to his parents' custody after being observed putting store items in his backpack without paying for them. The owners of the store at the 1000 block of East Main Street in Purcellville will be pressing charges.
