Dec, 25, 2:50 p.m.
Purcellville police responded to a domestic disturbance on North 16th St. One of the involved parties agreed to leave the location.
Dec. 26, 6:19 a.m. – 6:21 a.m.
A 2011 Toyota Camry was stolen from the 20 block of Sugarland Run Square in Sterling after the owner left it unattended and running.
Dec. 31, 8:04 p.m.
Several items were stolen from a house at the 1000 block of Yorktown Court in Sterling. The owners were out of town at the time.
Drunk in Public
Bryan Flethcher, 26, of Purcellville, was arrested for drunk in public at the 100 block of North 16th St. in Purcellville.
Jan. 1, 1:24 p.m.
A 46-year-old man was treated for non-life-threatening injuries after a gun when off while he was handling it. The incident occurred at the 13500 block of Village Green Drive in Leesburg.
Dec. 26, 2:38 p.m.
Police responded to a home a the 600 block of Kincarra Place in Purcellville after a resident reported money having been taken from their wallet. No charges were filed.
Dec. 27, 3:20 p.m.
Police responded to the 700 block of East Main St. in Purcellville after receiving a report of a customer attempting to pass a suspicious prescription for controlled substance. The customer had left the scene. The prescription was not filled.
Dec. 27, 1:50 p.m.
A burglary took place at the apartment complex at the 20000 block of Coltsfoot Terrace in Ashburn when a resident was approached by a man with a gun in the stairwell. The gunman stole cash and a cell phone. The suspect is described as a dark-skinned black man standing 6’5” tall with a thin build. At the time of the incident, he was wearing dark jeans and a dark-colored hoodie.
Jan. 1, 1:45 a.m. – 1:50 a.m.
After an apparent disagreement at a local restaurant, a man was attacked by a black man in his 20s. He was described as having dreadlocks and being 5’11” and 150 pounds. A female attempted to help the victim and was assaulted by a black female who allegedly attempted to take her purse. Another male also attempted to help the victim, but other subjects attempted to jump him. Deputies responded, but the attacker was not located. The victim was taken to Inova Loudoun Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
