James Lansdown |
The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a Sterling man wanted in connection with an Aug. 8 robbery.
James E. Lansdown, 29, is wanted for robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery.
He is described as being 6 feet tall and 160 pounds. He has brown eyes, black hair and is known to frequent the Sugarland Run and Mirror Ridge areas of Sterling.
Lansdown was one of four people involved in the 11:22 p.m. Aug. 8 in the 2100 block of Fireside Court.
Deputies say a 21-year-old man was standing outside his home when he was assaulted by several people. They then took several items from his home.
Three have already been charged in connection with the case, including Michael D. Windsor, 28, Jennifer S. Rosales-Pereira, 22 and Matthew R. Hannah, 23, all of Sterling. All were charged in August with robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery.
Authorities are asking if anyone knows the whereabouts of Lansdown to call Detective M. Grimsley of the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division at 703-777-0475.
