Felon crashes vehicle, faces DUI and firearm charges

A convicted felon from Leesburg faces DUI and firearms charges after a car crash on Thursday afternoon.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to an area of Route 15 near Lucketts at approximately 4:10 p.m. Feb. 9 for reports of a man driving a vehicle who wanted to harm himself.

A deputy spied a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee losing control, with the driver overcorrecting and proceeding into oncoming traffic. According to the Sheriff’s Office, the jeep continued into an embankment and rolled before hitting a 2011 Nissan. The Nissan driver was not injured.

Clyde W. Miller II, 39, of Leesburg, was driving the jeep and was airlifted to Inova Fairfax Hospital. He was later released and charged with a second-offense DUI, posession of a firearm by a convicted felon and driving on a suspended license.

He remains in the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center without bond.

Tell him to ask for McCahill for his judge—seems he’s letting everyone off with a slap on the wrist—this guy should have scammed like Diane Atari.

@Claude Van Damn Idiot

Your comment is nonsense, not one of the gun laws passing through the legislature now is going to make felons having guns legal.

Where is his mugshot LTM???? Must be White.

Clyde W. Miller II…definitely a spanish guy from Sterling

You can call him Clyde Mildew now!

you forgot to mention the illegals.

A few more years of GOP control FedUpDude’s lobbying and we’ll be able to extend the castle doctine to our vehicles. Then I’ll mount an anti-tank rocket launcher on my truck and when DWIers, tailgaters, speeders or other driving scum threaten me I’ll be able to protect myself by taking them out. Our roads will be safer when criminals who would otherwise break the law realize they’ll get fried instead of home alive if they come to Virginia to speed.

right turn clyde.
