Foxcroft senior Catherine Reynolds became the youngest person to receive the Annie Award from the Less Cancer Campaign, getting honored at National Cancer Prevention Day Feb. 4 at Capitol Hill.

The Less Cancer program is part of the Next Generation Choices Foundation, which was founded by Bill Couzens in 2004. The Annie Award is named in honor of his sister and is given to individuals who bring awareness to cancer prevention.

Last year, Reynolds rallied her classmates to raise money for the Less Cancer Campaign during Foxcroft's Junior Class Walk-a-thon.
