Could a former Leesburg resident be Donald Trump’s newest protege?

Mahsa Saeidi-Azcuy, 29, is an assistant district attorney in Brooklyn, N.Y., but she hails from Loudoun. She will be vying for the top spot on “The Apprentice” against 15 other contestants, which begins airing September 16.

As a student at Loudoun County High School, Saeidi-Azcuy was extremely disciplined, hardworking, intelligent and energetic, according to her father, Leesburg real estate investment manager, Tony Saeidi. Saeidi is not permitted to speak about his daughter’s involvement in the show. Likewise, Saeidi-Azcuy is not permitted to speak to the media.

Saeidi-Azcuy has carried those characteristics into her adult life, graduating from the University of Virginia and later obtaining her law degree in New York.

All of the reality show candidates were hit hard by the economic downtown and were chosen for the opportunity to give their careers a second chance, according to a press release issued by the show.

Saeidi-Azcuy’s biography states that dealing with the financial pressures of being the breadwinner in her marriage has given her personal strength. It also says that she fights to promote justice and is obsessed with beauty, hair and style secrets.

Saeidi-Azcuy’s Facebook page includes tips from her beauty blog and various salutations from her 954 fans. Saeidi-Azcuy plays coy about the show, however. There is little mention of the Donald, except for the status: “Hitting the gym! Mr. Trump doesn’t like flabby girls!”
