The Greene Turtle restaurant in Sterling will hold a fundraiser from 3 - 9 p.m. Aug. 2 to benefit Project Lifesaver, a program of the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office. Proceeds from food sales at the restaurant during those hours will go toward the program.
Project Lifesaver is an electronic-based tracking system that the Sheriff’s Office offers for residents with conditions like Alzheimer’s Disease, autism and others.
“Project Lifesaver offers peace of mind for those with family members who may wander away,” said Major John Fraga of the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office Operational Support division.
The Greene Turtle’s Sterling location is at 21035 Dulles Town Circle.
