For the month of June 2012, the Inova Loudoun Hospital has been celebrating its 100th anniversary.
On June 5, 1912, the first Loudoun Hospital opened in a rented office in Leesburg. Now, two campuses – one in Leesburg, and the main campus in Lansdowne – have been serving the community.
The hospital had a cake made by the Market Salamander’s esteemed pastry chef Jason Reaves to resemble the years of growth the hospital has seen. Additionally, Reaves made sheet cakes for employees that were handed out June 21 and 22 at the two campuses.
