Loudoun County deputies were able to find a missing 11-year-old child Saturday after a three hour search.
The child, who is autistic, was reported missing about 1:15 p.m. from a home in the 1300 block of Shepard Drive in Sterling.
Deputies canvassed the area and used Fairfax County Police Department helicopters. The Reverse 911 system, a program which calls homes in the area to ask them to be on the lookout for a missing child or suspect, was activated.
The child was found safe about 4:05 p.m. by deputies in the area of Route 28.
