The Loudoun Small Business Development Center recently announced that it will be holding meetings at its new location from 3-5 p.m. every Thursday. The location is the Mason Enterprise Center, 202 Church St. SE, Leesburg, in Suite 100. All of the programs are free, but representatives with the SBDC ask that you register beforehand at loudounsbdc.eventbrite.com.
The first Thursday of each month, the SBDC will host a seminar on home-based businesses, where attendees can ask questions and network with peers. The second Thursday of even months will host the Loudoun Lemonhead Council, a group of successful entrepreneurs and corporate leaders throughout the county who will provide advice to small businesses. On Feb. 9, two pre-selected companies will each engage in an hour presentation/feedback session with the council.
On the second Thursday of odd months, the SBDC will host general peer-to-peer sessions. On the third Thursday of every month, the center will host technology thrills seminars to help county business owners dive into the world of social media and marketing. Finally, on the fourth Thursday of every month, the SBDC will host an all things financial seminar to provide small businesses with information on how to secure loans and on what tools are available to help them manage their finances.
