A Leesburg man who ran from deputies following a 1:58 a.m. traffic stop Sept. 7 was found to be carrying a gun when he was apprehended.
Tristan A. Van Norden, 21, is charged with failure to stop for police, obstruction of justice and carrying a concealed weapon. He’s being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center without bond.
According to reports, a deputy stopped Van Norden’s vehicle at the intersection of Farmwell Road and Pipeline Plaza.
He ran from the scene and was later found and taken into custody by a Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office Canine Unit.
No injuries were reported.
