Joshua’s Hands, a local service and community organization, has awarded three winners of their A Servant’s Heart Scholarship, an essay based scholarship.
The 2012 winners include Somok Yoo of Freedom High School, Amber Bryant of Broad Run High School and Ben Baker of Loudoun Valley High School.
These three recent graduates each were awarded $1,000. Yoo, a cellist, will continue her studies at the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati. Bryant will attend the College of William and Mary and Baker will attend Christopher Newport in the fall.
