The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed a Lovettsville homeowner at gunpoint this morning.
The homeowner, according to reports, was awakened about 10 a.m. by his dogs and found an unknown man inside the residence in the 14200 block of Milltown Road. The man pointed a gun at the homeowner and demanded cash and jewelry. However, nothing was taken from the home.
The robber fled the scene on a small cruiser-style motorcycle and traveled south on Milltown Road. He’s described as white, in his mid-30’s, with shoulder length red hair and red facial hair. He was further described as being 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, dark shorts and ankle boots.
