An Alexandria man and a teenager from Sterling have been charged in connection with the Dec. 31 armed robbery of the Fairfield Inn and Suites located in Dulles.
Cesar A. Pisconte, Jr., 21 was charged on Jan. 10 by Loudoun County Sheriff’s Investigators with robbery, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and participating in a criminal act to benefit a gang. The teenager, a 15-year-old, was taken into custody on Jan. 13 and charged as a juvenile with robbery, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and participating in a criminal act to benefit a gang. The name of the teenager cannot be released due to the fact that he is a juvenile.
Pisconte has also been charged with an assault that happened on Jan. 7 at a McDonald’s in Sterling located on Pidgeon Hill Drive. The incident, which occurred at 4:30 a.m., Pisconte threw a glass bottle at an employee in the drive-thru of the McDonald’s. The employee received minor injuries during the incident and declined medical treatment. For the assault, Pisconte has been charged with assault, participating in a criminal act to benefit a gang and throwing a missile at an occupied dwelling.
During the December 2011 robbery, the two suspects entered the lobby of the hotel around 2 a.m. One of the suspects brandished a firearm and demanded cash from a hotel employee.
Pisconte remains held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center. The teenager is being held at the Loudoun County Juvenile Detention Center.
