NOVA announces winter break and extended hours

Northern Virginia Community College will be closed for winter break from Dec. 23 through Jan. 2. The College will reopen Jan. 3.

Registration for the spring semester will continue online and by telephone while NOVA is closed. Students can log on at http://www.nvcc.edu or call 703-323-3770 to register for spring classes during the break.

NOVA will be open extra hours in January to give students additional time to complete registration transactions in person. Offices will stay open until 7:30 p.m. Jan. 3 to 5 and Jan. 9 to 12. In addition, offices will be open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 7. On Jan. 6 and 13, the College will observe normal business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

NOVA’s winter break and extended hours:

Dec. 23 to Jan. 2:  College closed
Jan. 3 to 5:  8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Jan. 6:  8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. (normal hours)
Jan. 7: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Jan. 9 to 12:  8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Jan. 13:  8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. (normal hours)
