    Part of Briar Patch Park closed until June

    The Loudoun County Department of Parks, Recreation and Community services announced March 13 that a portion of Gwen Thompson Briar Patch Park in Sterling will be closed until June 1.

    The volleyball court and adjoining picnic pavilion will undergo construction, utility work and site preparation for new restrooms.

    While the volleyball court and picnic pavilion will be closed, the playground, basketball court, tennis courts and gazebo will remain open.
