A pedestrian died Thursday after he was struck by a vehicle in Ashburn.
The incident occurred about 12:43 a.m. at the intersection of Route 7 and Ashburn Village Boulevard.
The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office believes the 21-year-old McLean man intentionally stepped out into traffic.
He was taken from the scene to Inova Loudoun Hospital in Lansdowne where he later died from his injuries.
