The Purcellville Police Department are warning residents about a phone scam, according to Sgt. Mike Owens.
The scam involves Loudoun residents being called and asked to give money to the Purcellville Police Annual Fund Drive. According to Owens, this call is a scam, and the police will never call asking for money.
The haters have access to a computer tonight. They are correct, nothing new from them.
A Purcellville phone scam? Sounds like Bob Lazaro looking for campaign money.
There is a Virginia police/sheriff organization that calls me about twice a year to try and get money to help families of fallen police. They are not a 5013-c non profit and I do not know where the money really goes. Beware
