President Jeff Browning and Operations Manager Dale Weldon , who represented the Purcellville farming equipment dealership Browning Equipment, Inc., have returned from their annual trip to Kubota Tractor Corporation’s 2011 National Dealer Meeting, which was held in San Antonio, Texas.
Every year, Kubota dealers are given the opportunity to participate in field demonstrations, seminars, and other hands-on driving experiences with Kubota’s new line of products. The meeting is also a chance for dealerships to place orders for new Kubota products.
Representatives Browning and Weldon were given a first-hand look at these new vehicles and tools. Notably, they are bigger and more powerful. For example, Kubota and meeting attendees heralded the new M135GX M-Series ag and utility tractor as the most spacious mid-size vehicle Kubota has to offer.
Another huge improvement Kubota released was that their products now conform to recently-initiated tier four standards of emissions regulations without the cost of vehicle performance, according to Browning and Weldon.
This year, over 1,000 Kubota dealers across the country were invited to recognize and celebrate the company’s continued overall success.
At the conclusion of the meeting, U.S. Division’s Kubota president Yuichi “Ken” Kitao, who spoke at the San Antonio meeting, “We are proud to work with our entire dealer network to exceed our customers’ expectations by delivering on product innovation, quality and value, and remarkable customer service.”
For Browning and Weldon, their trip marked Browning Equipment, Inc.‘s 30th year as Kubota brand dealers, which is “a little bit of a special honor,” remarks Browning. Weldon adds that in addition to this recognition, their dealership was also presented with the Kaizen Award, which is presented to 15 percent of Kubota dealers for outstanding achievement.
Weldon and Browning have placed their order for several of the new Kubota models, including a new and economical four-wheel drive utility vehicle.
“I am excited about the new products coming out next year. We hope to prosper and provide the level of service customers have come to expect for the last 70 years,” says Weldon. Browning adds, “We are fortunate to be affiliated with Kubota because of their strong line of high-quality products.”
